Viv Miller

Viv Miller’s career was in product development, manufacturing and global sourcing. She lives in Novato, California with her husband Knute, where she raised her two daughters Sam and Kat, who have given her five grandchildren to play with.

To celebrate the lives of girls, honor their achievements, support their wishes and acknowledge their importance to our future is the essence of the Moxie Girls message. “Moxie” means courage, energy, heart and spunk. It captures the promise for freedom of expression with opportunity to be independent informed thinkers. At no time have these elements been combined in a children’s book for girls…until now.

The book captivates with poems for the poets, art for the artists and puns for the punners. These traits engage children of all ages and the child within us all. It also establishes a connection between generations appreciating its wonderful art, wit and whimsy.
